Winnebago Two-Spirit in collaboration with Little Priest Tribal College and Hisgexjį Horak, are hosting a screening of “Being Thunder” for Two-Spirit/LGBTQ+ PRIDE month.

This event is FREE and open to the Winnebago community and surrounding communities.

About the film: Being Thunder is a documentary about Sherenté Harris, a Two-Spirit teenager who dances in the Fancy Shawl "girls" category at Powwows, facing both family support and community challenges. The film explores themes of identity, authenticity, and the struggle for acceptance within traditional Native American communities.
